About this project
While employed by RIOT Agency, I worked as a Product Designer on an in-house product: an Uber-like beauty platform connecting beauty professionals with their clients. The brand was soon named 'Women Brand of the Year 2019'.
Background
Biuti.pl - Marketplace for remote beauty services
Biuti.pl was an in-house SaaS product managed and maintained by RIOT Agency. It was available as both a web-based platform and a mobile app, designed to help beauty professionals provide their services remotely in their clients' homes. Serving as a marketplace connecting both parties, biuti.pl offered essential features for clients and professionals, such as a booking system, service management tools, and advertising options.
The product concept was validated through initial UX research, where team thoroughly researched user personas, market needs, and pain points. This research formed the foundation for the platform, ensuring that it addressed real user problems and was aligned with market opportunities.

My role
As the Product Designer on the project, I was responsible for both UX and UI design, as well as contributing to the overall product strategy. I conducted behavioral analysis using HotJar recordings to understand user interactions and identify areas for improvement in the overall experience.
Additionally, I leveraged internal proxy research by working closely with customer service representatives, who acted as intermediaries, to gather valuable feedback from both beauty professionals and clients.
I played an active role in sprint planning and other scrum meetings, collaborating with the team consisting of product owner, lead designer, content designer and developers. Together, we discussed and prioritized features, set roadmaps, and ensured that user feedback was incorporated into each development cycle.
